Lead Senior Full Stack Developer

About the Job:

As Full Stack Developer, you will be assigned to the Global Build Area, which is responsible for the technical implementation and development of the global BMP product. In this role, you will ensure that all components are developed in accordance with global architecture principles, security requirements, quality standards, and coding guidelines, enabling consistent rollout and reuse across Allianz countries.

You will collaborate closely with Product Owners, Architects, Business Analysts, QA engineers, and other agile team members within the BMP Claims Area, working in a structured agile environment with clear governance and standards.

The Business Master Platform (BMP) is a strategic global initiative of Allianz. BMP aims to design, build, and provide standardized global business solutions to Allianz Operating Entities (OEs) across countries. The objective of BMP is to harmonize core insurance processes, increase operational efficiency, ensure regulatory compliance, and enable scalable digital capabilities across markets.

What you do:

• Design and implement end-to-end solutions across frontend, backend, and database layers
• Develop responsive and accessible web applications using modern frameworks and technologies
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures
• Implement business logic, workflow automation, and system integrations
• Design and optimize database schemas ensuring data integrity and security
• Ensure all components are scalable, maintainable, performant, and compliant with UI/UX standards
• Support continuous delivery pipelines and CI/CD automation
• Enable rapid, reliable deployments across multiple environments
• Establish and enforce coding standards, best practices, and development guidelines across the team
• Monitor and optimize application performance, ensuring high availability and scalability in production environments
• Define and implement strategies for continuous integration, deployment, and delivery (CI/CD) to streamline development workflows
• Conduct regular code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers to enhance their technical skills

What you bring:

• Backend: Java (Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring Cloud Config), Jax/RS, Kafka Connect, REST APIs, Event-driven architecture
• Frontend: JavaScript, TypeScript, AngularJS
• Database: MongoDB
• Testing: Unit and integration testing frameworks
• DevOps & Tools: GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, Monorepo tools
• Additional Skills: Strong understanding of application performance monitoring tools and techniques, and experience in implementing secure coding practices
• Leadership: Proven ability to lead technical teams, mentor developers, and foster a culture of collaboration and innovation
